eStack should use the carrier tracking APIs to keep track of when shipments are delivered. It's a nice stat for at least the following reasons:

  • We can compute shipping time and evaluate couriers.
  • We can probably end up automating refunds when shipments are delivered late.
  • We can send follow-up emails to customers to ask for ratings/feedback/etc, and generally provide better customer service.
